Notary Services
Our firm provides the full range of notary services. Notary Shmuel Lavi is available to meet clients’ needs, even beyond the firm’s regular working hours, if necessary.
Notary services are usually provided within a day, by appointment only.
Our office is located in a quiet and pastoral Haifa neighborhood close to the Ziv shopping district and the Technion and is easily accessible from anywhere.
We can also provide notary services at the client’s home or business and in hospitals and other institutions, for an extra fee in accordance with the official Notary Services Price List.
We also provide supplementary services, such as authentication of Declaration of Ownership of Single or Additional Apartment for a mortgage bank, authentication of Declaration of Replacement Housing for a mortgage bank, drawing up a General Power of Attorney, drawing up a Special Power of Attorney and more.
In case of need, we also provide apostille certification. An apostille stamp authorizes a certified Israeli notary to perform notary services so that the document will be recognized in other countries that are signatories to the Hague Convention. Our firm provides this certification for the official notary fee plus the cost of the courier (140 shekels in addition to the regular notary fee).

Life certificate
Fees for notarial services are set by law and notaries are not permitted to deviate from these fees. As we are not authorized to charge more or less than the set fees, there is no point in comparing notarial services based on price alone but rather based on service quality, speed and availability.
Our firm has a great deal of experience in drawing up all types of notarial certificates. We place emphasis on providing quick and available service at times convenient to the client, including in the evening and on Friday when most notary offices are closed.
What documents should you bring to your appointment with the notary and who should attend the appointment?
Signature Verification

Bring original and current identity card or passport (Israeli or foreign). Only original identification documents are acceptable.

We are sorry but the notary cannot provide any notarial services based on copies or scans of identification documents.

Every individual who requires signature verification must be appear physically before the notary, either at our office or at the client’s home according to prior arrangement.

In the case of a couple or a number of signatories, all must be together and appear physically before the notary.
Notarial certificate of translation

Bring document for which certificate of translation is required.

We recommend that you submit the document in advance, by email or by fax, in order to obtain a price quotation. This way, you only have to come to our office once to obtain the translation and the notarial certificate.

Certificate of prenuptial agreement
